This Legal Disclosure applies to the HatchEvent platform (“HatchEvent”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including its websites, web applications, mobile applications, sub-domains, and all related services operated in or from Singapore.

By accessing, registering, or using the HatchEvent platform in any capacity, including as an Event Organizer, Vendor, Guest, or Administrator, you acknowledge and agree to the disclosures set out below.

Platform role and limitation of liability

HatchEvent operates as a technology-enabled marketplace and service facilitation platform. We provide digital tools that allow Event Organizers (“EOs”) and Vendors to discover, communicate, submit requests for quotations (RFQs), manage event-related workflows, and optionally purchase value-added services.

HatchEvent does not act as an agent, broker, guarantor, insurer, or contracting party between EOs and Vendors unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement. All commercial engagements, quotations, service delivery, contractual obligations, warranties, and liabilities remain strictly between the EO and the Vendor.

No guarantee of outcomes

HatchEvent does not guarantee that RFQs will receive quotations, that quotations will be accepted or result in confirmed bookings, that vendors will be awarded jobs, or that any specific business outcome, revenue, lead conversion, attendance rate, or event success will be achieved.

Vendor rankings, AI-based suggestions, sponsored placements, and system-generated recommendations are algorithmic and informational in nature only and must not be interpreted as endorsements, guarantees, or assurances of quality, performance, or suitability.

Third-party vendors and services

Vendors listed on HatchEvent are independent third parties. HatchEvent does not verify, certify, warrant, or guarantee vendor credentials, licenses, regulatory compliance, service quality, safety standards, legality, or suitability of vendor services, nor the accuracy or completeness of vendor-provided information.

Any dispute, claim, loss, or damage arising from vendor services, quotations, or event execution must be resolved directly between the Event Organizer and the Vendor. HatchEvent bears no responsibility or liability for such matters.

RSVP, communication, and outreach services

Where RSVP services, email invitations, WhatsApp messaging, IVR calls, or guest communication tools are used, the Event Organizer confirms that all uploaded contact information has been lawfully obtained and that all required consents have been secured in compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

HatchEvent acts solely as a technical service provider executing instructions provided by the Event Organizer and is not responsible for complaints, regulatory actions, penalties, or disputes arising from improper contact data usage or consent violations.

Payments, credits, and memberships

Payments made on the platform, including memberships, credits, sponsored listings, RSVP packages, and other services, are processed through third-party payment gateways.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the point of purchase, payments are non-refundable. Credits are subject to defined usage rules and expiry conditions, and membership benefits are governed by platform policies, configurations, and entitlement terms. HatchEvent is not responsible for bank charges, payment gateway errors, foreign exchange differences, or delays caused by third-party providers.

Platform availability and technical limitations

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain platform availability, HatchEvent does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, security measures, network disruptions, or infrastructure issues.

HatchEvent is not liable for losses or damages resulting from system unavailability, delays, or technical disruptions.

Data accuracy and user responsibility

Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all information submitted to the platform, including event details, RFQ requirements, vendor profiles, quotation data, and guest contact information.

HatchEvent is not liable for consequences arising from incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or outdated information provided by users.

Intellectual property

All platform software, workflows, designs, algorithms, dashboards, documentation, and proprietary logic are the intellectual property of HatchEvent or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, reproduction, distribution, or misuse of platform materials is prohibited unless expressly permitted in writing.

No professional advice

Information provided through the platform, including estimated pricing, analytics, rankings, or system insights, does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Users should seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Disclosure is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising in connection with the HatchEvent platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Updates to this disclosure

HatchEvent reserves the right to update this Legal Disclosure at any time. Continued use of the platform following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised disclosure.
